Wendy qualified as a registered nurse in 1989, subsequently working within the NHS as a ward manager in her local Trust. She has a longstanding career of nearly 25 years working for and in partnership with the NHS, where she has embraced a variety of clinical roles and always strived to improve the quality of care and patient experience across health and social care.

Wendy joined Cerner in 2006 as a solution consultant, and her leadership and passion for healthcare have earned her significant accomplishments both inside and outside the organisation. In her current role at Oracle Health, as the senior director for new business across the UK, some of her responsibilities include building and maintaining strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners. She is also responsible for analysing the market for changes in healthcare delivery within the UK to help identify new ways of working for clinicians across the NHS – both in using IT and innovation, as well as workflow standardisation, and workforce upskilling.
